Hazardous waste management

Collection, recovery and recycling services for hazardous waste

Many hazardous wastes can now be recovered for recycling, these include: paints, inks, adhesives, solvents, batteries, aerosols, oil and oil filters, gas cylinders, fire extinguishers, fluorescent tubes, sodium bulbs, fridges and freezers, WEEE  (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) and contaminated metal packaging.

Our comprehensive hazardous waste collection service will suit any project requirements, whether the materials are in 25 litre containers, regular consignments of 205 litre drums, 1000 litre intermediate bulk containers or bulk liquids using specialist tankers.

We supply a wide range of specialist storage units for all types of chemicals and hazardous wastes, many of which can be tailored to meet specific requirements.

We also have spillage control kits, drum bunds, IBCs, battery boxes and a complete range of equipment for the safe handling of hazardous wastes.

A qualified and experienced team quickly identifies, packs, labels and collects hazardous materials and ensures compliance with aspects of transport legislation, Duty of Care, the Environmental Protection Act, Hazardous Waste Regulations and all Health and Safety legislation worldwide.

Hazardous waste can be collected by a range of vehicles, from 10 tonne rigid curtain-sided to articulated curtain-sided vehicles and mild or stainless steel barrel tankers to spark arrested solvent tankers.
