Oily slops and sludges

Process, recover and reuse

Oily slops and sludges are processed at dedicated TWMA treatment plants in key oil and gas locations worldwide or onsite via a mobile slops and sludge plant. 

The oil is recovered and sent for reuse as either an industrial or secondary fuel.  Recovered water is disposed of in line with regulations and client requirements.  Solids are processed through our TCC RotoMill thermal processing unit to remove any additional water and oils, thereby recovering a solid suitable for reuse or disposal.

Our research and development department is undertaking trials for the reuse of the recovered powder within the construction industry which in some countries could lead to complete landfill avoidance.
