General Manager, Egypt
I joined TWMA in August 2006 as an Offshore Engineer and was promoted to Offshore Lead Engineer in December 2006. I was then promoted to Operations Co-ordinator in April 2008, which was an office-based role. In this role I closely monitored the day-to-day operational resources and activities on client sites and acted as client liaison for coordinating the different service delivery aspects. This position opened a wider horizon of new challenges and experiences and was a beneficial transition from field to office work.
A year later I became Operations Manager before taking on my current role of General Manager in January 2013. This role allowed me to gain significant experience in operational, contractual and commercial areas of our business. Equally, my responsibilities for service delivery, client satisfaction and pursuing our HSEQ targets and objectives have enabled me to succeed in my progression to General Manager. I am now responsible for the overall operational and financial performance of the Egypt business unit and I play an active role in business development and strategic planning for TWMA in Egypt.
The company has provided me with valuable support throughout my career progression and has trusted my capabilities and performance. I was privileged to witness and contribute to the company’s successful growth over the years, and I am extremely grateful that the company has allowed me to be part of that growth. The evolution of the company from one stage and size to another, has also taken place within the Egypt operations where I had the chance to provide career progression within the Egypt team. In August 2013, we reached a significant milestone of employing 100% national employees within the Egypt business. I am proud to say that the Egypt team has earned and enjoyed the success of TWMA Egypt’s performance and growth, and we now take pride in what we have achieved.

Technical Sales Manager
I joined TWMA as Tenders and Proposals Manager in 2016. This was a new role at the time, so I had a great opportunity to create a position that would make an impact on the business. Since then, to support the company’s growth, I’ve changed the internal approach to tendering allowing the company to retain key contracts and win new exciting opportunities, working with the greater sales team we have a new approach to strategic selling, I’ve expanded the team and have implemented training and development plans to help the sales department reach their full potential.
Recently I have progressed into the position of Technical Sales Manager, within this role I work with each of the region teams globally to develop their sales strategies, identifying new opportunities taking them from a technical concept to a fully commercialised solution that our clients require. I fully believe in the value we offer clients through our technology and within my role I have the opportunity to raise client awareness to drilling waste management and the value it creates to their operations. Tenders and Proposals Specialist
I joined the tendering team in October 2017 as Tenders and Proposals Specialist, based in Aberdeen. In this role I am responsible for the preparation and co-ordination of proposals for TWMA globally.
TWMA is a great employer for building a career with as there are so many training and development opportunities. Services Delivery Manager, Abu Dhabi
I joined TWMA in 2007 in a TCC RotoMill Operator role. I spent five months working on the TCC RotoMill before joining the management team where I worked my way up from a Project Engineer to Base Operations Manager. In 2014 I relocated to Abu Dhabi where I am now the Operations Manager leading over 200 employees based on offshore remote locations.
I still remember my first international trip with TWMA where we installed a TCC RotoMill whilst the rig was in transit in the Atlantic Ocean. That was a great opportunity to be in contact with people from different countries with different languages and cultures, not only within the organisation, but also with our client and other service companies.

Key Account Manager
I joined TWMA in 2013 as Sales Executive initially working at TWMA’s Peterhead site and as part of the offshore crew. I then spent time working in the tenders department before joining the international sales team covering client accounts in the UK and Africa. To gain more operational experience, I moved into the role of Key Account Manager where I was the operational client focal point for a number of North Sea projects. I now manage a portfolio of client accounts in the North Sea and key accounts globally. I identify opportunities for growth and driving the sales process.
My role has given me the opportunity to develop my career and travel globally. A highlight for me was working in Pennsylvania on an onshore processing contract.
Career development is a major focus at TWMA and I’ve been on a number of training courses since joining to help build my career. The opportunities, client interaction and staff make it a great place to work and I look forward to seeing the company continue to grow.
Business Development and Technical Sales Manager
I am new at TWMA, but I have been in the industry for over 25 years, and I happily took the opportunity to join the TWMA Team. It was evident from what I had heard in my interviews and has subsequently been proven to me over that last year, that the employees and management of TWMA are passionate and focused on getting the job done efficiently, to exceed the customers’ expectations.
The company culture is entrepreneurial and agile, with customer focus at its core. The severe downturn in the last few years meant that other companies were downsizing, whereas TWMA has been focused on growth. The organisation has been able to spot and take opportunities that have continued the company's expansion and kept the depth of experience and knowledge on board. I have witnessed the continued investment and sharpening of the robust processes, that support and allows me to operate in my position within a new market for TWMA.
